Update 2 - Serious crash in Tokoroa
Police, emergency services and roading contractors continue to work at the scene of a fatal crash involving a car and a
truck south of Tokoroa this morning.
It is hoped the road will reopen by around 3pm today.
Police can now confirm the two deceased were a male and a female, who were travelling in the car.
The driver of the truck remains in Tokoroa Hospital in a moderate condition.
