Oil spill in Drury/Papakura
Police are advising motorists to avoid Great South Road in Drury and Papakura as a significant amount of oil has spilt onto the road.
The road is closed between Parkhaven Drive and Beach Road, including all side roads leading on to Great South Road.
Fire service is at the scene and is expected to be there for sometime.
We are asking motorists to avoid the area and to expect significant delays.
We are still working to ascertain where the oil has come from.
