SH1 between Te Moana Road and Peka Peka reopened
The NZ Transport Agency is advising that State Highway 1 between Te Moana Road and Peka Peka is now open, following a fatal crash earlier this morning.
“Emergency services and our contractors are now clear of the crash site, which means that we can open the road again. We expect that there may be some delays as the congestion from the detour route clears, but we anticipate that traffic will shortly return to normal patterns for a Friday afternoon. We ask that motorists continue to be patient if they do experience any delays,” Mark Owen, Regional Performance Manager, NZ Transport Agency says.
