Nelson Police arrest male after Norwich Street incident
A 68-year-old male will appear in court next week in relation to an incident in which a teenage girl was approached and grabbed by a man on her way to school in Nelson.
The incident happened yesterday around 8.20am in the Norwich Street area of Stoke.
The man will appear in Nelson District Court on Monday 11 July charged with assaulting a child.
Police still want anyone whose children may have been approached by a male, or who were made to feel uncomfortable by a male, while walking to school over the last week in the Norwich Street area to contact Nelson Police on 03 546 3840.
