Body found in Rakaia
Police are investigating after a body has been discovered on the banks of the Rakaia River in the Selwyn District.
The body of a female was found by emergency services earlier this evening (Sunday 15 May) and the discovery is believed
to be linked to a number of fires this afternoon in the area.
Police are at the scene and are investigating.
