Due to a minor sink hole on Durham St Christchurch.
Durham St is reduced to one lane only at the intersection with Worcester St.
This is expected to cause significant delays during this afternoon's peak.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid Durham St and instead use Barbadoes St and Fitzgerald Ave as an alternate southbound
route.
It is hoped that Durham St it will be open to two lanes by 7am tomorrow morning.
