Now more than ever, Kiwis are becoming “greenies”
The 2015 Wellington Go Green Expo will be bigger than ever this year with the number of eco-conscious Kiwi shoppers
increasing by a third.
A recent study showed that 76%* of New Zealanders feel personally tasked with creating a more sustainable environment.
With this rapid change in attitude, everyday Kiwis are now more aware of their lifestyle choices and the impacts it has
on their health, says Go Green Expo manager, Damien Hochberg.
“Over the years sustainability has become more and more mainstream. Three quarters of New Zealanders are more conscious
of the impact their environment has on their health, the dangers of certain modern pharmaceuticals and processed foods.”
says Damien.
New Zealand’s largest organic, natural, sustainable, green living show will be held at the TSB Arena, Wellington on the
21st and the 22nd of November.
The 2015 Go Green Expo provides a blockbuster lineup of speakers, workshops and exhibitors, who are leading the way with
products and services for a more sustainable, healthier lifestyle.
Among the plethora of speakers and exhibitors are two standout clean, green living experts: Eco-Crusader Kate Meads,
commonly known as the Nappy Lady, and Yogi Kim, from Empower Yoga Wellington hosting a free one hour workshop.
Go Green Expo’s Damien Hochberg says Kate Meads is a huge drawcard for Kiwi parents who are passionate about sustainable
living.
“The Nappy Lady, Kate Meads, will be sharing tips in her ‘Waste Free Parenting Workshop’. Kate will be inspiring those
to make more educated, sustainable decisions at home and with parenting.
Locally sourced ingredients, certified organics, New Zealand manufactured and allergy and cruelty free products will be
on display from organic household cleaners to organic, vegan certified cosmetics and skincare,” Damien says.
