Fatal Motor Crash - Foxton
At about 2pm today, a 59 year old Palmerston North woman was involved in a motorcycle accident on State Highway One,
South of Foxton. As a result of the crash the woman suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
State Highway One was closed for a short time and diversions put in place. The Highway is now open, however there is
still a backlog of traffic and drivers are advised they should drive with caution in the area south of Foxton.
The Serious Crash Unit will be investigating the cause of the accident.
