Road closure after serious crash - Rodney District
Emergency Services are at the scene of a serious crash on Takatu Road Tawharanui, near Warkworth. The crash which
involved a single vehicle happened just before midday.
Two people have been injured - one is status two (moderate) and the other status one (critical). The Westpac Rescue
Helicopter has been called to transport the victims to hospital. Takatu Road between Tawharanui and Takatu Point has
been closed to all traffic until the scene is made safe and the Serious Crash unit completes their investigations. The
road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
