Nelson Home & Garden Show Largest Ever
Jade Promotions, the country’s largest and most experienced home show organiser, announced today that it’s Nelson Home & Garden Show, which opens this Friday at the Saxton Stadium, is the biggest since the inaugural event first inspired home owners back in 2006.
Show director, Daniel Joll, says “The show will be fantastic for show visitors, with more variety, show-only specials and expertise than ever before. Over 180 exhibitors will be there to show case emerging trends, cutting-edge innovations and industry expertise. Home décor, landscaping, plants, outdoor furniture, kitchens, bathrooms and solar solutions will be on display, along with everything else essential for enhancing the home. There will also be show-only bargains that visitors won’t find anywhere else.”
One visitor will have the chance to win the show prize, which includes a stylish coffee table, valued at $2,365 from Living Design. The winner will also receive an 8-piece Future cookware set from Stoneline and a $250 Resene voucher. To enter, visitors need only supply their details at the show entrance. The winner will be drawn when the show closes on Sunday evening and will be announced on More FM the following day.
An ‘Eye of the Beholder’ Upcycling Exhibition will feature everyday objects that have been reborn in quirky new forms. These include a luxury couch made from bed frames; a kitchen island made from a drawers and a metal welding trolley; plus carpet upcycled into beautiful floor and wall works of art.
Home enthusiasts will also be treated to free daily seminars by trade professionals through the ‘Transform Your Space’ Seminar Series. These will provide the most up-to-date information on interior design, landscaping, solar solutions, kitchens and sustainable building.
