Death of person found on Waiheke Island not considered to be suspicious
A post-mortem examination has been conducted, following the discovery of a body on Waiheke Island yesterday afternoon.
As a result, Police do not believe the death is suspicious.
The scene examination of the area where the person was found is now complete.
Enquiries to identify the deceased and inform next of kin are still ongoing.
