Two Kiwi Icons Team up for Ultimate Tourism Partnership
SKYCITY Auckland has today announced a new partnership that will see renowned AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand take over the operation of the iconic Sky Tower’s SkyJump and SkyWalk adventure tourism activities.
The Sky Tower is the tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere which attracts more than 410,000 visitors annually. SkyJump, which involves a 192m controlled fall, began operating in December 2001, and since then nearly 150,000 people have taken the plunge. The SkyWalk activity, which sees visitors complete a 360 degree circumference of the Tower at 192m, was added in December 2007.
