Hamilton police search for man seen to fall from bridge

Hamilton Police wish to confirm man who fell or jumped from bridge is ok
Just after midnight on Saturday 20 September a person was seen to jump or fall from the Bridge Street bridge in Hamilton.
Despite an extensive search of the river by boat, the man was not located by Police.
The person is believed to be male, around 6 feet tall and wearing dark clothing including a dark hooded top.
Police have not received any reports of a missing person meeting this description. A member of the public did however report seeing a man soaking wet in Hamilton East in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Police would like to confirm that the man who either jumped or fell from the bridge in the early hours of Saturday morning is safe and well.
