Indecent assault update
Taupö Police have spoken to a person of interest in relation to the sexual assault which occurred on Kaimanawa Street on Friday, 12 September on Kaimanawa Street near Spa Road.
As a result of these enquiries Taupo Police are no longer seeking anyone else in connection to this incident and a local man in his 30s will be appearing in court next week.
Detective Claire Rogers states: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the community who have provided information which has resulted in the prompt resolution to this incident."
