Splash Planet teams up with the Hawke’s Bay Rugby
Hastings water theme park Splash Planet has joined with Hawke’s Bay Rugby in encouraging kids to take in some great footie action.
The Splash Planet Take a Kid to Footy promotion aims to get youngsters from around Hawke’s Bay to enjoy the rugby that is on offer year round and encourage parents to take their kids to the Magpies ITM Cup matches at McLean Park.
Splash Planet Manager Peran Hutchings says “I am excited about this great partnership which links two of the biggest and best family activities in the “Bay”. Splash Planet opens again for the summer season on Monday 17th November and teaming up with the Magpies during the ITM Cup season will allow us to remind the kids about the great times that are on offer at Splash.”
Peran Hutchings says “During the summer season we will be able to remind the thousands of youngsters who attend Splash Planet that there is some great 7’s rugby to be played and watched around Hawke’s Bay. We also look forward to welcoming rugby players and their families to Splash during summer and see how they go on the Double Dipper!”
Hawkes Bay Rugby Union Sponsorship manager Dan Somerville said “We are delighted to have teamed up with Splash Planet as naming partner of the Splash Planet Take a Kid to Footy initiative. This is a key offer that will allow families to enjoy the Magpies match experience at a great price. This ties in well with the Splash Planet club card which also offers great deals for Hawkes Bay residents.”
Dan Somerville says “The new relationship now creates a partnership for families to enjoy throughout the whole year especially with the growing prominence of rugby 7’s during the summer months.”
