Pedestrian Hit by Car Not Identified
Counties Manukau Police have yet to identify a man who was struck by a car just after 11.00pm last night on Great South Road near Ryan Place.
The man is presently in a critical condition in Middlemore Hospital.
He is described as a male of about 50, 170-180cms, dark skinned, possibly Fijiian Indian and of slim build. He has a thin moustache.
The man was wearing black work boots, faded blue jeans and a black and orange HiViz jacket. No identification was found on the man but he was in possession of a silver coloured cigarette tin with a picture of a heron and eagle on the front.
