Capital Value Consultation Begins Today
8 August 2014
On 31 July, Council made the decision to consult on a proposal to change to a capital value rating system.
The public will have the opportunity to have their say on the proposal between 8 August and 8 September 2014.
All information regarding the proposal is available at the Council building, libraries and online at www.hamilton.govt.nz/ratingreview
Public drop-in sessions will be held during the consultation period:
•Thursday 14 August – 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Chapel Hill Church
2 Cate Road, Rototuna
•Thursday 21 August – 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Western Community Centre
46 Hyde Avenue, Nawton
•Tuesday 26 August – 4.30pm – 6.30pm
Hamilton City Council Reception Lounge
Garden Place, Central City
All submissions will be considered at hearings held during the week beginning 29 September and Council will make a decision on 30 October 2014.
