Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board notification: Community Grants Policy
The draft Community Grants Policy is currently out for consultation.
The policy will guide the allocation of council funding to groups and organisations involved in the delivery of
projects, activities and services that benefit Aucklanders. It covers grants for arts and culture, community
development, environment and heritage, events, and sports and recreation.
The policy aims to make the community grants programme simpler, fairer and more accessible to applicants.
Once the policy is adopted, the new programme will replace all existing community funding schemes.
The Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board are hosting a public engagement on the Community Grants Policy on Thursday, 7 August – 6pm at the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board office, 7-13 Pilkington Road, Panmure.
You can provide your feedback using the online form, alternatively, the summary and a reference copy of the full policy document are also available to read at public
libraries, local board offices, community centres and service centres.
Feedback on the Community Grants Policy closes at 5pm on Monday 11 August.
