Christchurch Police investigating unexplained death
Christchurch Police are investigating the death of a male in his 70's at a North New Brighton address.
He was in a residential care facility when he died, and the cause of death is unexplained. There are no obvious
suspicious circumstances at this stage, however the circumstances leading up to the death, and what the actual cause of
death was, are being investigated.
An examination of the scene is being conducted today, and a post mortem will take place tomorrow.
Further information will be provided following the post mortem tomorrow.
