Stabbing/Pursuit in Counties Manukau
At about 5pm yesterday Police and Ambulance were called to an address in Redoubt Road Flat Bush where a person was reported to have been stabbed.
As police were preparing to enter the address the suspect for the stabbing left the premises in a car. Police attempted to stop the car but the driver fled and was chased along Redoubt road towards the Motorway. He traveled North on the motorway before stopping near the Otahuhu interchange where he was arrested.
One person at the Redoubt Road address was found to have minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Counties-Manukau police are interviewing the driver of the car, and no further details regarding the incident are currently available.
