Food Market Robbery
Christchurch Police are investigating an Aggravated Robbery at the Mairehau Food Studio in Briggs Road about 8pm on Saturday 26 July 2014. A male with a distinctive hooded top, entered the dairy and pointed a pistol at the attendant.
He demanded money and cigarettes. The store attendant did the right thing and did as she was asked and the male left with cash and tobacco.
The male is described as dark skinned, skinny, about 170cm (5ft 7) tall and 25 to 30 years old. He had a black scarf over his face and a dark hooded top with large bright coloured letters on the front.
