Today specialist Alpine Cliff teams searched the banks in the vicinity of the crash and river bed and freight has been
removed from the floor of the ravine.
The driver has still not been located.
The search will resume tomorrow when a digger will go into the ravine to search the large amount of debris and rubble
created as a result of the crash.
The name of the missing driver is:-
Stuart James BARNES, age 59 years from Papakura, Auckland, a driver for Freightlines.
