Hutt Valley Police seeking witnesses to aggressive driving between Stokes Valley and Upper Hutt Police station

Upper Hutt Police want to hear from anyone who saw a silver Honda Odyssey station wagon, registration FRH930, driving aggressively towards or colliding with a blue Subaru Legacy, registration BHM733, between Stokes Valley and Upper Hutt between 11.30am and just after midday yesterday [Tuesday 15 July].
Police understand that the two vehicles travelled from Stokes Valley onto State Highway 2 at Silverstream before exiting at Gibbons Street. The vehicles have then driven around the Upper Hutt CBD before crashing and coming to rest near the Upper Hutt Police Station on Fergusson Drive.
A 27-year-old male was arrested yesterday and has been charged with assault, wilful damage, male assaults female, dangerous driving and breach of protection order. He will appear in the Hutt Valley District Court today.
