"Flooding - Clevedon - Counties Manukau"
Police and Fire are monitoring roads around Clevedon and Kawakawa as water
levels continue to rise.
The Clevedon polo ground is flooded and the road was down to one lane a short
time ago.
It is anticipated that a full closure will be required shortly and full tide
is expected a around 7.00p.m.
Heavy rain is expected to continue for another hour at least.
Council contractors have been requested to assist with signage.
Motorists and local residents are advised to avoid travel in the area.
