Community Asked to Pull Together for 'Just One More' Campaign
Do you have room for one more staff member in your business? This is the question being asked by Work and Income to the local community on behalf of the affected Thames Timber staff and their families.
The 'Just One More' campaign asks people locally if they have room for one more paid employee in their workplace or business. Can they offer an opportunity of employment to one of the Thames Timber employees?
Work and Income are asking for people to think outside the square, "Remember there are administration staff, partners and spouses, people with other qualifications and skills and plenty of people willing to learn a new industry," said David Paitai Work Broker for Work and Income.
Any vacancies you have can be filtered through David who will look to match one of the Thames Timber employees to the job. David can be emailed david.paitai003@msd.govt.nz or called directly on 029 200 6368.
