Assault in Brooklyn on Tuesday

On Tuesday 1 July 2013 at approximately 10.50am a couple has been walking up Brooklyn Hill when the 58-year-old man has been seriously assaulted by another male, after a verbal argument. He is now in Wellington Hospital in a serious but stable condition with head injuries.
Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Sears says "A number of people have come forward and are assisting Police, however, we still need to hear from anyone who witnessed this assault. Police inquiries to date have established this is an isolated incident."
