Vines Village Creative Kid’s Day
The Vines Village 193 Rapaura Road, Blenheim
Sunday 6th July 2014 10am-4.30pm
The Vines Village invites creative kid's of all ages to a fun day of fashion, jewellery, food, art and craft workshops
on the opening weekend of the July school holidays, Sunday July 6th 2014 from 10am til 4.30pm.
Join in on kid's art competitions, fashion and jewellery workshops, felting and cookie designing as well as the other
great fun for kid's – a special treasure hunt, lolly scrambles and exploring the Pirate Playground and surrounding
grounds.
The AFD Store will be running a tee-shirt tassel and necklace open workshop suitable for school age children (5 and
over) and their parents. All materials will be provided free of charge and you will walk away with your very own
designer tassel or necklace. No crafting experience required, you’ll just only need to be able to use a pair of
scissors!
The Quilters Barn will be making up-cycled pencil tins and felt creations. Kids can bring along a cleaned tin to cover
with one end completely removed and no sharp edges. Everyone is welcome, adults included.
The Fudge Factory will have a cookie decorating competition, lolly scrambles and a special kid’s treasure hunt. Lilac
Wine and the Village Café will be hosting a drawing competition for 2 age groups (under 8yrs & 8-12yrs) and Mihi Merino will be doing 10% off all kid’s gear.
