Contact Youth Space closed temporarily after flooding
Heavy rain in Levin early Tuesday morning caused flooding in the Contact Youth Space at Te Takere.
Rainwater entered the building through the roof after exterior downpipes overflowed.
Youth Space will remain closed while the clean-up is underway. It is expected it will be able to re-opened this Saturday.
The Youth Rave scheduled there for Friday night has been postponed until Friday 25 July.
Visitors to Te Takere Horowhenua Culture and Community Centre should use the main entrance off the Levin Mall car park.
