State Highway 7 to remain closed to 1.30pm
State Highway 7, from the Hanmer Springs turnoff to Springs Junction, will remain closed to 1.30pm today after a logging truck rolled at Rough Creek.
The logs, which were over the road have been cleared as has the traffic which was queued at the site. The highway will now remain closed until the logging truck is recovered. This is expected to take until 1.30pm.
Motorists are advised to freephone 0800 4 HIGHWAYS or visit the website www.highwayinfo.govt.nz for the latest on highways conditions and hazards.
