Fleeing Driver

At about 7.00pm 26/06/2014 Hamilton Police were involved in a fleeing driver incident with a motor cycle in the Hamilton City Eastern area. The incident was resolved when the motor cyclist failed to negotiate a corner and fell off the bike. He has suffered no injuries as a result of the fall. The driver will be facing a number of charges in relation to his actions and further enquires are continuing surrounding the ownership of the motor cycle.
Police cannot stress enough that fleeing drivers not only endanger themselves and Police but also other lawful road users.
