Incident in Wickman Way, Mangere

At approximately 3.45pm today Counties Manukau police were called to Wickman Way in Mangere where an altercation had taken place between two groups of youths.
Two youths have been taken to Middlemore Hospital as a result of injuries sustained. The injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are currently talking witnesses to gain a better understanding of what happened.
A scene examination is also taking place.
The incident is not connected in any way to the incident earlier today at the Pacific Christian School.
Police say it is very early stages in the investigation and it will take some time to fully establish details of what took place.
