Award-winning WWI author presentation at Upper Hutt Central Library cancelled
The event ‘From ‘Our Boys’ to Tough Men’ which featured award-winning World War I biography author Jane Tolerton is now cancelled until further notice.
UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 20 JUN 2014—Regrettably, Upper Hutt City Library have had to cancel the WW100 event and author talk by Jane Tolerton that was scheduled for this Saturday (21 June) at the Central Library.
“It is regrettable that we have had to cancel this event due to unforeseen circumstances, as there was significant public interest in it,” says Council’s Community Services Manager, Debbie Duncan. “We are hoping to be able reschedule it sometime in the near future.”
People who were interested in coming to this event are advised to keep an eye on Upper Hutt City Council’s digital media channels (Council Facebook, City Library Facebook, and Library website: www.upperhuttlibrary.co.nz) as well as other local news media.
