Media Advisory: Fluoride interim hearing delayed
The fluoride interim hearing has been delayed until Thursday 26 June 2014.
The hearing was initially scheduled for this Friday but has had to be moved due to availability of the High Court judge.
The interim hearing is around Safe Water Alterative New Zealand Inc (SWANZ)’s application to stop fluoridation of Hamilton’s water supply until the substantive court case has taken place.
If SWANZ’s application is refused, fluoridation of the city’s water supply will resume as soon as practicable (expected to be around seven days after the court decision has been made).
The hearing will take place next week at the High Court in Hamilton and begin at 10am.The date for the substantive court case is unknown at this stage.
