Second person charged in Ashburton investigation
Canterbury Police advise that a 24-year old Ashburton man will appear in the Timaru District Court this morning, charged with assaulting Arran Gairns with intent to rob, on Saturday 31 May in Ashburton.
Police will today be continuing inquiries to locate and speak to a number of persons of interest in relation to the unexplained death of Mr Gairns.
