Pakuranga Burglary / assault
At 3am on Sunday morning Police were advised two males entered a house in Cortina Place Pakuranga armed with weapons believed to be a knife.
A female occupant was assaulted before the offenders left.
A male from the address gave chase whereby a firearm, believed to be a shot gun, was produced by the offender and discharged.
No one was injured as a result of the firearm discharging.
Police are interested to talk to anyone who can provide information that will identify these two offenders.
