Counties Manukau Police are asking for assistance in locating the whereabouts of a one year old girl and her mother.
23 year old Victoria Harrison (pictured) and her 1 year old child Autim Harrison were last seen on the evening of the 19th May 2014. Harrison has links to the Counties Manukau and Dargaville areas.
Harrison's immediate family and Police have concerns for the well being of both Victoria and Autim and are asking for any sightings of the pair to be reported immediately to Police or Child Youth and Family.
Acting Detective Inspector Albie Alexander, head of the Counties Manukau Child Protection Team, is appealing to Victoria and her friends and family to contact him, or any member of Police to confirm her current whereabouts and more importantly the current safety of 1 year old Autim.
"There are a lot of family or friends who are concerned enough to be contacting Police and all we wish to do is to confirm the wellbeing of Victoria and her child. We want to ensure that the appropriate support is in place for both Victoria and Autim and that they are okay. Our focus is very much on their safety and well being” says Acting Detective Inspector Alexander.
If anyone has any information as to the current whereabouts of the pair or have seen Victoria or Autim please contact the Counties Manukau Police or the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
