State Highway 2A Takitimu Drive overbridge joint repairs
Motorists are advised that delays can be expected from today for up to three weeks as work to repair the joints on the SH2A Takitimu Drive overbridge gets underway.
The works will take place during the day and at night, and will involve weekend work. The NZ Transport Agency says the road will remain open, but will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. The work is expected to be completed by 9 June.
Motorists are advised to drive with care and to expect delays whilst traffic management is in place. The Transport Agency wishes to thank drivers for their patience, while these works are being done.
To find out more about these works please go to http://www.nzta.govt.nz/traffic/current-conditions/highway-info/road/7873/north-island.html or phone the Transport Agency's 0800 4 HIGHWAYS.
