Thefts from boats in Far North
Police are investigating some thefts from boats at a marina near Kerikeri.
Two outboard motors and a fuel tank were stolen off different boats in the Kerikeri Cruising Club Marina at Doves Bay. The thefts are believed to have occurred on the night of April 25.
A 15hp Yamaha two-stroke outboard motor was taken off a launch and the offenders also removed a 15hp black Yamaha outboard motor, with the word 'Kiwi' sign written on it, from an inflatable dinghy. The dinghy was tied to a larger boat.
A 25 litre fuel tank was taken from another boat.
