Fatal crash at Sanson

Fatal crash at Sanson
At around 8am this morning Manawatu Police attended a single vehicle crash on Hurst Road, Sanson.
Initial indications suggest the vehicle has left the road and landed upside down in a ditch. The single male occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fire Service and Ambulance also attended.
The Serious Crash Unit has launched an investigation into the crash and is currently conducting an examination of the scene.
Part of the road has been cordoned off and there is minor impact on passing traffic, however Police urge motorists to exercise caution if using the road.
