ORC extends survey completion deadline
The Otago Regional Council has extended the completion date for an online survey of residents in Otago. The survey is aimed at gauging people’s awareness of the council and its activities, and how satisfied they are with the services it provides.
The original completion date for the survey was April 28 but is now Wednesday May 14, to allow time for more people to complete it.
A related telephone survey of 900 people from throughout the Otago region has recently been completed.
The online survey (which is accessible through the “Have your say” section on the ORC website homepage (www.orc.govt.nz), seeks people’s feedback on their awareness of the council’s role and their impressions of its performance in the sustainable management of water, land, air, and public transport.
The survey results will be available later this year and will complement the feedback the council gets from ratepayers and residents through consultative processes such as the Annual Plan and the Long Term Plan.
