Serious Crash, SH2, Lower Hutt
Lower Hutt Police and other emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash on State Highway 2 near Melling
Link. A motorcyclist has been transported to hospital in a serious condition and SH2 is closed southbound with traffic
being diverted down Melling link.
The road will be closed for approximately 2 hours while the Police Serious Crash Unit complete a scene investigation.
Police ask that motorists avoid the area if possible.
