Police confirm identity of body found in Beach Haven, North Shore

A post-mortem examination has been conducted today on the body found in a Beach Haven creek on the North Shore yesterday afternoon.
Police can confirm that the man has now been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed.
The man has been identified as 58 year-old Michael Oliver of Auckland.
Enquiries into Mr Oliver's death are ongoing however at this stage it does not appear to be suspicious.
