Serious Crash - Komata - Waikato
SH26 has been closed between Paeroa and Kopu as the result of a serious crash.
The crash, reported as car versus car has blocked both lanes.
Police were notified of the crash at 10.45am and attended the scene near Komata Reefs Road with fire and ambulance. Three people are reported to have been injured, one seriously.
Police Serious Crash (SCU) will be attending and no further reports will be available until they have completed their scene examination.
There are no short diversions and motorists are advised to use SH2 or 25. The road is not expected to be cleared for at least three hours (2.30p.m.)
