This morning, 9 year old Linkin KUKA left his home address of 50 Sunnyside Road, Sunnyvale to play with a friend. He was expected home later in the afternoon. When he did not arrive home by 5:30pm, his family contacted police.
Police have confirmed that Linkin arrived at his friend's house in Millbrook Road about 10:00am, but left short afterward as his friend was sick, and not able to play.
Linkin is a Maori male with short dark coloured hair. When last seen, he was wearing grey coloured denim shorts, a grey/black t-shirt with a black pocket on the front. He was wearing a purple and black coloured baseball cap with 'NY' on the front. Linkin was carrying an MGP brand scooter coloured green. The scooter has no wheels.
Linkin suffers from epilepsy and was due to have his medication around 5:00pm
He is described as a friendly boy, who may trust strangers.
Police are anxious for Linkin's welfare and eager to return him to his family.
Anyone who sights Linkin or knows of his whereabouts should contact police immediately on 111.
