SH 2 South of Gisborne Vehicle Crash/Road Closure
A car crash on the intersection of Bushmere Road and Bell Road in Makaraka in the Gisborne District, has brought down
power lines. As a result Bushmere Road between Main Road (SH 2) and Farmer Road, as well as Bell Road between Saleyard
Road and Bushmere will be closed until the morning when the local power company can fix the damage.
The crash occurred about 12:30am this morning involving one vehicle and no one was seriously hurt.
