Legal high retailers’ suspensions extended
The Psychoactive Substances Regulatory Authority has extended the licence suspensions currently in place for six legal high retailers in Hamilton.
The Authority informed licence holders and the Hamilton City Council that the suspension will be extended until 5 working days after (whichever is the later):
• The resolution of the appeal before the Psychoactive Substances Appeals Committee, or
• The judicial review proceedings in the High Court.
All licence holders and applicants have been informed that they are to continue to refrain from selling psychoactive substances until the above is resolved.
