Police and relatives are looking for a 79 year old woman who has been missing from Papatoetoe since midday on Monday.
The woman failed to return to her Esperanto Rd home after going for a walk around midday.
She is not familiar with the area and suffers from memory lapses.
She is described as a 79 year old polynesian woman of medium build. She has white hair, and was last seen wearing a pink cotton jumper and baby blue pants. She had an orange scarf tied over her head.
