Police investigating death of child in Massey, West Auckland
Waitematä Police are investigating the death of a child who was found by family members in the driveway of their Massey home on Friday morning.
Police were alerted by Waitakere Hospital at 12.37pm that relatives of Mila Tamihana, aged 18 months old, had rushed her to the emergency department, after finding her seriously injured on the driveway.
Her condition deteriorated and sadly she was unable to be revived.
Enquiries are underway to establish how the child received her injuries, but at this stage, details about the driver or vehicle involved are not yet known.
