Counties/Manukau Missing Person
Rua NICHOLAS boarded an Intercity bus in Hamilton at 20:15 on 14 March 2014. Rua’s parents advised he was due to get off at Manukau City at 21:30 at 2 Ronwood Avenue, Manukau City.
However a confirmation text for reservation B75EED in the name of Rua Nicolas [sic] stated the arrival time was 8.49pm. It is unclear whether the bus arrived and Rua did not get off the bus or Rua was not at the terminal at 21:30 when expected. Enquiries were made by ACD staff to check if Rua had travelled through to the bus terminal at Sky City but did not locate him.
Rua suffers from a mental illness and has the mental age of a 12 year old. Rua was wearing blue jean shorts and a dark brown t-shirt and was carrying a small blue and black bag. Rua has a tribal arm band tattoo on his upper left arm. Rua is on medication which was needed to be topped up on his arrival in Auckland.
Without this medication his behaviour will change. It is expected he will suffer from mood swings within a couple of days. Rua is currently under the care of Richmond House Services, Hamilton.
Counties Manukau DCC hold the file. Please phone 09 263 2709 (Counties Manukau DCC) is there are any
sightings.
