SH1 - Rangiriri Traffic delays

Police advise that there will be significant traffic delays in the Rangiriri area for several hours while the Police serious crash unit work at the scene of a serious motorcycle crash.
Drivers are asked to be patient and to follow the directions of emergency workers at the scene.
The condition of one of the riders on the motorcycle has now deteriorated and is status one (life threatening injuries).
Both riders have been taken to Waikato Hospital by helicopter.
